Brexit Statement – Global Fire Equipment
In preparation for the planned withdrawal of the UK from the European Union (EU) (Brexit) on 31st December 2020, Global Fire Equipment has taken steps to mitigate risk and minimise any disruption to the delivery of our products and support to customers in the UK, EU and worldwide.
There are still many unknowns relating to Brexit and its potential impact on the fire industry. However, we have prepared for various Brexit scenarios, assessing the risks and potential impact on our UK business. This includes carrying out a risk-based assessment of all our business processes and establishing risk mitigation plans in each business area.
Global Fire Equipment continues to work with our customers and supply chain partners to prepare for Brexit and the future. Our contingency plan will ensure supply continuity even in the event of a hard Brexit. We are also developing a detailed plan to hold appropriate additional levels of product stock in the UK business, providing further assurance of supply continuity to our customers.
We do not believe that Brexit will negatively impact our business and our number one priority remains supporting our customers to ensure continued access to our technologies in the UK, EU and the rest of the world, regardless of whichever form Brexit takes.
Please be assured that Global Fire Equipment will continue to review all areas of our business as more information becomes available. We will deliver further updates should they be needed.
If you have any questions or require additional information on any specific aspect of our operations or service, please contact us.
We look forward to continuing to work together and thank you for your ongoing support.
