We ship our products via the courier company APC. Some items may be dispatched directly from the manufacture, if this is the case, we aim to keep you informed to our best ability.
Delivery charges are based on the weight of the whole consignment being shipped and the requested delivery location. Additional delivery charges apply to non UK mainland and remote areas i.e.: Isle of Man, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Islands, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands, etc.
For next working day delivery, orders must be placed before 2pm. Priority next working day delivery is available for the following locations (postcode dependant, please contact us for confirmation):

Some deliveries going to Non UK Mainland have a maximum standard weight limit, this maximum weight limit is dependant on location. For any orders which go over this limit there will be a charge per additional KG - please contact us for a price.
Unfortunately "collect in person" is not always available as we do not hold a large quantity of stock at our office – all stock is held at our warehouse. If you wish to collect in person, we must be notified 24hours in advance and we hold the right to refuse/re-arrange the collection.
If you don't receive your order, or have any issues or questions regarding your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order was placed by 2pm for next working day delivery, please wait until 6pm on the day of expected delivery before contacting us to track your order. Although we may ship your items on a next working day service, we cannot guarantee that this service will be met. If your items do not arrive next working day, we will not be held liable for any consequential loss this may occur.
If a signature is required on delivery, the buyer or someone authorised by the buyer will need to accept the delivery. In cases of delivery to certain locations such as hospitals, airports, hotels, ships and other business premises, the signature of any person authorised to accept delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery.
Should delivery be refused at the delivery address and re-requested for another date, we may make an additional charge for the second delivery.
If a delivery is 'carded', this means that a delivery has been attempted but due to circumstances out of our control, e.g. no-one to accept delivery, no safe place to leave the delivery etc. the item has not been successfully delivered and the item has returned to the buyers local depot. It is then the buyers responsibility to ensure that they contact their local delivery company to arrange a re-delivery or provide a "safe place" to leave the item.
It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery consignment note have been delivered.
Shortages must be noted on the delivery consignment note and buyers should notify us of shortages within three days of delivery. If packages look damaged on delivery we recommend the contents be inspected before accepting and signing for the delivery.
Global Fire Equipment Ltd use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that delivery is made around the delivery time advised, but delays to deliveries beyond our control can occur. Incorrect delivery address details may cause delays in delivery, buyers must ensure they have included full delivery address details, including accurate postcode, daytime contact telephone numbers and e-mail address so we can notify you in the event of a delivery delay.
We deliver 5 days a week - Monday to Friday. We do not normally deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. We endeavour to deliver within 30 days of order confirmation unless agreed otherwise, but do not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time. Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays and most orders received after 2pm on weekdays, will be processed the next working day.
